Boston is very pretty - it has a river running through it and is right by the sea. The river reminded me of Prague but the feel is very cosmopolitan and American rather than the Old World laziness of Prague, making it feel like a cross between Prague and New York. Attempted to use the subway for the first time today and was woefully inept at it. It. feels. wonderful. It's been an enriching three years: I am not the same person now that I was starting out, and it has been a fantastic legal experience studying here. And. so. it. begins. It's strange to think that it's been two years since my coming here as a bright-eyed, green young fresher. It seems a long time ago. And also a very short time ago. It feels both eons ago and yet as if it was only yesterday. The summer has flown by - several vac schemes, mini-pupillages and two weeks with the AG's Chambers in Malaysia followed by a month in which I refused to touch anything to do with Law.
